Google Maps showed about 23 minutes and 8.3 km from NVT Whispering Hues to the Wipro SEZ campus near Kodathi, measured on a Saturday evening in October 2026. What the Wipro SEZ campus is
The Wipro SEZ campus is a large, access-controlled campus off Sarjapur Road near Kodathi. A Business Today report in August 2018 said Wipro planned a 50-acre campus at Kodathi to bring Electronic City staff to Sarjapur Road within two years, and described it as about 6 km from its corporate office. In September 2025 the founder-chairman reportedly declined a request to open the campus to public traffic, citing SEZ status and access-control obligations (Deccan Herald and Storyboard18, September 2025).
Two practical consequences. First, you cannot treat the campus roads as a shortcut. Second, the Google pin we used is the "wipro sez" result; entry points and gates matter, so confirm yours. We did not find a verified current headcount, so we do not quote one.

Do not read the 23 vs 14 gap as a contradiction; read it as a reason to check your own gate. Route notes and timing
The road is part of the Sarjapur Road corridor, so the traffic pattern follows it: slow when the morning wave of Sarjapur Road travellers heads towards Kodathi and Carmelaram, lighter on the way against it. We measured on a Saturday evening, which is not your weekday morning, so retest it. For SEZ staff, shift timing often decides everything. Employees in staggered shifts may find 23 minutes becomes 15 or 35; ask colleagues who live along the corridor.
Reverse-commute and weekday advantages
Gunjur-to-Kodathi is not a typical flow like Bellandur: many commuters head west and north on Sarjapur Road, while you head across Varthur-Sarjapur Road. Colleagues who live in apartments near Carmelaram will beat you by distance; you trade a longer drive for a larger home and a calmer neighbourhood. If your role is hybrid, the commute is comfortable.
Cab, shuttle and public options
No metro serves this campus or Gunjur; Carmelaram railway station is about 27 minutes away by road per Google Maps (October 2026), and is not a practical daily link from the site. Company cabs, shuttles and two-wheelers are standard. Ask HR for pickup points near Varthur Road.

For someone based at the SEZ, the villa belt around Gunjur gives you plot size and top schools within minutes: Greenwood High about 2 minutes, TISB about 3 and Inventure Academy about 6 (Google Maps, October 2026).
