A disclosure first. NPS East is part of the National Public School family linked to the NVT group, the same group behind Whispering Hues. The NVT timeline on the project's own materials records NPS East opening in 2023 on a 7-acre campus on Sarjapur Road. We include NPS East here because families ask about it, not because the link makes it the best fit. Read this page with that in mind, and compare it with unrelated schools in the schools pillar.
Distance and commute
Google Maps showed about 34 minutes and 10.4 km from the Whispering Hues pin to NPS East on a Saturday evening in October 2026, routing via the Varthur–Sarjapur road and the Gunjur–Doddakannelli road. The Maps address is SY No. 8/1, Chikkanayakanahalli Road, off Sarjapur–Marathahalli Road, Doddakannelli, Bengaluru 560035.

The developer's 18 minutes is considerably shorter than our reading. We cannot reconcile the two without knowing the time of day and route the presenter used. Our advice is to measure at your own drop-off hour and plan on the longer figure. The route crosses busy parts of the Sarjapur corridor, so the gap between a good day and a bad day can be large.
What NPS East's website says
The NPS East website (npseast.com, checked 17 October 2026) states that the school is affiliated to CBSE with affiliation number 831336. It describes a co-educational school on 7 acres off Sarjapur Road, near the Outer Ring Road and Bellandur intersection, with pre-primary, primary and secondary levels. The page did not state a grade range, boarding, transport details or fees.
For admissions it said registrations were open for the 2027-28 academic year through the National Public School admissions page, with a phone number of 88843-77777 and an email address of admission@npseast.com. It lists Mr K G Garg as Chairman of the NVT Group among the school's leadership; it does not explain the ownership structure in detail, so ask the school how it is run.
Who might choose NPS East
The profile is a family that wants CBSE, values an established school family and is comfortable with a long daily journey from Gunjur. Because the school is on the Sarjapur side, a parent who works around Bellandur or Sarjapur may drop off on the way to work, which can offset some of the distance. For a parent working in Whitefield, the geography does not help.
CBSE alternatives with a similar commute are DPS East at about 29 minutes and Harvest International at about 29 minutes. Closer options with different boards are in best international schools near Sarjapur Road.

Home life around a long school day
A child on a 35-minute bus ride benefits from a settled home routine. The villa plans give each bedroom a balcony and a walk-in wardrobe, and the first-floor family lounge in both Bluebell and Carnation can serve as a study. Outdoors, the community proposes a kids' play area with sand pit, tot-lot, play lawn and a cricket pitch; see amenities and family-friendly villas.
Whispering Hues is at EOI stage. Tentative basic prices (25 September 2026 sheet) are Rs 5.96 to 6.21 crore for Carnation, a 4 BHK of 3,750 sq ft built-up, and Rs 6.80 to 7.05 crore for Bluebell, sold as 5 BHK (4 bedrooms plus a media room) of 4,432 sq ft. The RERA number and possession date are not yet published.
